The MisteR project

is a collaboration of two designers, Mickey Lin & Ra Thomson and was dreamed up on their graduation from design school. Mickey and Ra are originally from Christchurch and met while studying fashion at the Christchurch Polytechnic. After graduating they worked for many well known designers; Mickey has worked for Sakaguchi, Starfish, Robyn Mathieson and New York designer Gam-In-Gale;

Ra worked as designer for Jockey Kids Underwear for 2 years before moving to Wellington to work for House of Hank. Over the last five years MisteR has been creating made-to-measure garments for a number of clients, friends and family. With this experience under its belt, MisteR is now establishing itself as a major player in the NZ fashion scene.
