Winter 2012 'Not so Grimm'

Our Winter 2012 collection is inspired by the Grimm Brothers fairytales such as 'Hansel & Gretel' and 'Rumpelstiltskin' and mixing it with some of MR's renowned fun and quirk.

The title 'Not so Grim' is a metaphor for our journey this year in Christchurch......... Having our City destroyed, our studio locked off in the 'Red Zone' for over 2 months and losing valuable customers like Ballantynes, but then coming out the other end still being able to deliver our Winter range, design the current Summer range from our garage and then being offered a spot at NZFW....ie. Things are 'not so grim' after all.

Like a gingerbread house deep in the murky woods, we have taken a grim themed colour palette of Black, Navy, Deep Greens and candy coated it with Pebble Oranges, Candy Floss Blue, Lolly Greens & Purple Icing. Combined with MisteR's classic cuts and costumesque styling, our show was one of the highlights at NZFW this year. And to top it all off, not only are we celebrating MR's 5th birthday, but this year at NZFW we are officially launching our much anticipated Womens line.
